I am a Belfast-based artist working in acrylic and mixed media, creating expressive artworks that capture the essence and beauty of everyday life. My practice is rooted in an intuitive exploration of colour, shape, and emotion, allowing each piece to evolve organically through layered mark-making and texture.
I was born and raised in Killeshandra, County Cavan, where the surrounding landscape and sense of place shaped my early creative influences. Travel plays an important role in my work. I enjoy exploring both Ireland and further afield, often journeying in my beloved campervan to experience the island of Ireland at its most raw and unfiltered. These moments of movement, reflection, and discovery inform the energy and atmosphere within my paintings.
I am drawn to the transformative process of layering paint and mixed media, watching materials merge and interact to create depth, contrast, and unexpected beauty. My work is constantly evolving, reflecting my own growth as an artist and my ongoing curiosity about the world around me.
